Ben Liam Jones is a celebrated storyteller who is best known for drawing out nuanced performances from his cast.
He began turning heads in 2012 when he picked up ‘Best New Director’ at the very first SHOTS Awards. Since then, his career has gone from strength to strength, directing memorable works for the likes of Sky, Quorn, Cadbury, Arthritis UK, Land Rover and Centerparcs.
Better still, Ben’s work for Childline – “It Follows Me Around” – saw him pick up ‘Best Short Film’ at the CFP-E Shots Young Director Awards, a Cannes Lion, Best New Director at the Kinsale Sharks and inclusion in the Saatchi & Saatchi New Directors Showcase.
His impressive range and ability to deal with a broad spectrum of emotions means that he’s comfortable tackling a wide range of stories, from hard-hitting social commentary to light touch, child-centric drama.
